Indian Fried Bread




Friends, family, co-workers, neighbors... Everyone loves this delicious bread!


*Ingredients

*4 cups all-purpose flour
*1 tablespoon baking powder
*1 teaspoon salt
*2 tablespoons powdered milk
*1 1/2 cups warm water
*1 cup butter 
*Extra flour to flour your hands

*directions :

Put the flour in a bowl and add the baking powder, salt and powdered milk.
Mix in warm water to form a paste.
Cover hands with flour and knead the dough by hand until soft but not sticky. Cover it with a cloth and leave it for 15 minutes.
Shape the dough into balls about 2 inches long, then roll out by patting and stretching the dough.
Melt the ghee about an inch deep in the skillet. When hot, put the dough in the pan. Fry one side until golden brown, then turn over and fry the other side.
It can be covered with honey, powdered sugar, etc. You can also make it delicious by covering it with cooked sausage or fried eggs....
