INDIAN FRY BREAD

I will take you to Asia more specifically to Bangladesh with this delicious Indian fried bread called Luchi (Loochi or Maida poori), which are delicious round buns 10-12 cm in diameter made without yeast and in minimal time.

*ingredients :

°1 cup flour
°Half a teaspoon of salt
°Half a teaspoon of sugar
°2 teaspoons oil
°lukewarm water (about half a cup)

* instructions :

In a bowl, mix flour, salt and sugar.
Adding oil & mix to mixture is crumbly. Gradually add lukewarm water until you get a smooth, non-sticky dough.
Form a ball, cover with a cloth and leave for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into several dough pieces (about 15).
Take each ball and spread it thinly in a disk about 10 cm in diameter on a lightly oiled surface, laying it out as you go on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
When the oil is hot enough, gently roll out the dough and use the frying spoon with light pressure while flipping the dough over itself in the oil. The bread will start to puff up after a few seconds. Flip and cook for a few more seconds (don't let the color take away). Drain the bread and place it on a plate covered with a paper towel or paper towel.
We continue with the rest of the dough.
Feet it right away.

Enjoy !
