Potato Pancake

 



*ingredients:

° 2 lbs russet potatoes or any starchy potato, peeled and very finely grated
° 1 yellow onion, grated, very fine
° 2 large eggs
° 1 teaspoon salt
° All-purpose flour cup
° frying oil

* instructions :

The first step:
After grating the potatoes, using a towel, squeeze out all the liquid from the potatoes well
Place the drained potatoes in a large bowl with the grated onion, salt, egg, and flour.
Mixing it well with your hands, you need it to be tacky. Add a little more flour if it's too sticky
The second step:
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan
Put 1 to 1 cup of the mixture into the hot skillet
Third step:
Fry for three to five minutes on each side until golden.
Drain on paper towel
The 4 step:
Serve directly while hot with applesauce also sprinkling of powdered sugar, sour cream, or even yogurt.
It can also be serve with meat and broth, use it as a side dish.
